I was looking up the new years celebration on Thailand Songkarn Festival and I found your blog. The reason I am writing is because what you said about the years flying by. This year has importance to me in a number of ways. Most importantly, my last child, my son, was married this year and my home is truely empty. Secondly, I turn 50 in August. I have never felt old, and I still do not. I am pleased to be young looking and in good shape, but this 50 thing is hitting me like a slap in the face. Well I will continue to enjoy my life and never give up. Why was I looking up this festival you may be wondering? I am interested in this festival because I travel all the time and a friend of mine who I visit in Thailand mentioned it. Thats it. Good bye and enjoy your 33rd year.

Hi Sarah,
I wish I’d made it to Ireland to see you. I hope things are going good for you and it would be cool to see an update to your blog. I hope you enjoyed Scotland when you came across – always wondered if you’d managed to imbibe some Irn Bru!?
